Because the Humane League of Lancaster County (HLLC)respects its clients and understands that they are concerned about privacy, we have instituted policies intended to insure that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.

HLLC collects client information to make your online experience the very best on the Internet. We respect your privacy, and we assure you that we will maintain and use this information responsibly.

HLLC believes in providing a safe and secure experience for all of our clients. We provide only the most stringent of security measures available on the Internet. We want you to feel comfortable that personal information such as your name, address, and credit card number will be kept safe throughout your entire affiliation with the HLLC. It is our policy to never send private information, such as your credit card number, via email.

The HLLC does not rent, sell or exchange information about our clients. We gather only client information that is needed to administer HLLC business and provide superior customer service for our own marketing and promotional purposes.

The HLLC limits access to client information to those employees who provide customer service through our Development Department only. Employees are trained on HLLC policies and practices regarding safeguarding client information; preventing its unauthorized access, use or disclosure; and, ensuring its proper handling.

Website and Server Security

At the Humane League of Lancaster County, it is a priority to provide excellent customer service to our clients. That is why we go to such great lengths to guarantee the security of all credit card transactions. You can feel safe donating through our online server. All of our credit card transactions are placed in a secured folder which will be accessed by one person in our Development Department. The HLLC guarantees that your online transaction will be secure, and that your credit information will be protected.
