Rose Pet Of The Week

Aries #107136, Shih Tzu, 3 years old

"Hi, my name is Aries.  Please don't turn away just because of my looks!  I know that I am not the most handsome dog right now, but that's not my fault.  When I came into the shelter my fur was horribly matted and I had to be completely shaved.  As you can see, I could stand to have another trim around my eyes.  If you can look past my appearance, though, you will see that I am a

wonderful little dog.  I love giving kisses and am a true lap dog.  I play well with other dogs and enjoy going for walks on my leash.  I have spent the whole weekend watching my other doggy friends be adopted and everyone has passed me by.  Can you make my

dream come true and give me a home where I will be loved?"

Previously featured kittens, "Lance and Luke ," were adopted.

FM97 Pet Of The Week

Petal #107129

Despite the fact that she got lost from her family and was left to fend for herself, Petal is a dog with a happy and friendly personality. This three year old terrier/lhasa apso mix has a cute, stubby tail that never stops wagging! Petal walks well on a leash and will "dance" on her two hind legs for a treat. Petal enjoys snuggling in the evenings and would be a great companion for someone who lives in an apartment and needs a small dog to keep them company.  Of course, Petal will be happy in any home where there is someone that has a lap for her to sit on and lots of love to give!

Previously featured FM97 pet, "Cortez," was adopted!
